The Aurelia Ensemble — Ceramics Collection
There is a particular kind of quiet that belongs only to you. It comes before the first message arrives, when the kettle has just clicked off and the page is still blank. The Aurelia Ensemble was chosen for that moment.
Each cup is gathered with hand-sculpted blossoms along its shoulder, tumbling down onto the saucer. Every tiny flower is pinched and placed by hand, one at a time, so no two pieces bloom in exactly the same way. Look closely and you will see the small differences between petals. That is how you know a person made it, not a mould.
Choose your blossom.
Golden Osmanthus — In Chinese tradition, the osmanthus (桂花, guìhuā) blooms in autumn, and its sweet, apricot-like fragrance is loved across Asia. Its name echoes the word for “precious” and “noble,” and for generations it has been given as a wish for good fortune and honour. Warm, golden and glowing, for the mornings you want your work to feel like a celebration.
White Apricot Blossom — The apricot blossom (杏花, xìnghuā) is one of the first flowers to open as winter gives way to spring, a long-loved symbol of fresh beginnings and gentle beauty. Soft white petals with tender green leaves, for quiet mornings, new chapters, and the calm you are making room for.
Pink Apricot Blossom — The same early-spring blossom, warmed with a blush of pink at the heart of every petal and finished with tiny golden stamens and unopened buds. Romantic and tender, for the woman who still believes in small, lovely things.
White Daisy — Crisp white petals around sunny golden centres. The daisy has long stood for innocence, cheerfulness and a fresh start, and its old English name, “day’s eye,” comes from the way it opens with the morning light. Bright and uncomplicated, like the first sip of the day.
Meadow Daisy — Daisies gathered as if picked from a wildflower field, in soft pastel shades with golden centres and spring-green leaves. Playful and gentle, for the woman whose happiest place is somewhere green and open.
More than a teacup. The saucer is lovely enough to be used on its own. Rest your rings and earrings on it beside the bed, place it on your dressing table as a trinket dish, or set a small candle on it in the evening. When the cup returns, the ensemble is whole again.
The ensemble: one cup and one matching saucer, presented together as a complete set.
Details: Hand-sculpted ceramic with glazed finish · hand-pinched 3D floral relief · single-handled cup · Apricot Blossom cup approx. 7.3 cm tall and 9.8 cm across the rim · suitable for hot drinks up to 100°C · handcrafted by artisans in Fujian, curated in Singapore
Caring for your pieces: Wash gently by hand in warm, soapy water, using a soft brush between the blossoms. Although the ceramic itself can take a dishwasher, we recommend hand-washing to protect the delicate petals. Warm the cup with a little hot water before pouring in boiling tea, and lift it by the body or handle, never by the flowers.
Before you order. Every piece is shaped entirely by hand, with no machine moulds, so each one is truly one of a kind: the flowers, curves and small details will differ from piece to piece and from the photographs. Because each piece is handmade and fired at high temperature, you may notice tiny variations in size, gentle unevenness in the glaze, the odd pinprick or a soft run of glaze. These are the natural marks of handwork and the kiln, not flaws. Colours can also look slightly different depending on light and screens. The sculpted petals are fine and delicate, so please handle your ensemble gently and avoid knocks, pressure and drops. When it arrives, do open and check it straight away; if anything has been damaged in transit, take a photo and contact us so we can make it right.
Handmade things carry warmth. Their small imperfections are what make them yours.
Delivery time: each ensemble travels to Singapore by air from the artisans’ studio in Fujian, then is packed for fragile travel and sent on to your door. Please allow 10–14 working days from the date of your order.
Colour disclaimer: every piece is hand-sculpted and glazed by hand, then fired in a kiln, so no two are exactly alike. Our photographs are taken under studio lighting and may also appear differently on your screen. The colour of the cups, saucers and flowers you receive may therefore differ from the colours shown in our images.
Curated. Elegant. Timeless.
